ivault Reaches No. 16 in Sri Lanka Shopping, Ahead of eBay

Swiss local marketplace passes 170,000 global installs as Slovakia and Vienna provide early signals on organic and paid growth.

ZURICH, SWITZERLAND, September 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Swiss local marketplace ivault reached No. 16 in the Shopping category of Sri Lanka’s Apple App Store on Aug. 12, according to a Sensor Tower ranking snapshot. eBay ranked No. 25 in the same chart.

The result comes as ivault has surpassed 170,000 installs worldwide, with recent activity in Sri Lanka, Slovakia and Vienna giving the company new data on how its marketplace is being discovered and adopted across different markets.

ivault enables people to rent, lend, swap, give away, buy and sell everyday items with others nearby. Its model combines local marketplace activity with identity and reputation tools and a reward system designed to encourage successful exchanges and keep existing goods in use for longer.

In Slovakia, ivault reached No. 77 in Google Play’s Lifestyle category and No. 98 in Shopping, entering the Top 100 in both categories without a dedicated local user acquisition campaign.

Vienna has provided a contrasting test of paid growth. Between July 15 and Aug. 24, an Android user acquisition campaign generated 1,710 installs on approximately €2,050 in media spend, equivalent to an average cost per install of approximately €1.20.

The two markets are giving ivault an early view of different routes to growth. Slovakia provides evidence of organic app discovery, while Vienna provides measurable acquisition data from a targeted local campaign.

The Sri Lankan ranking adds another data point to that process. On Aug. 12, ivault’s No. 16 position placed it nine spots ahead of eBay in the same national Shopping chart.
